25TH THE INTERNATIONAL HAVANA BALLET FESTIVAL

The International Havana Ballet Festival, one of the oldest and most prestigious events in the world, now in its 25th year. With over twenty performances and several world premieres planned to take place at the Great Theatre of Havana “Alicia Alonso”, The Karl Marx Theatre, the National Theatre and the Mella Theatre.

Ballet Day 1

DAY 1

NEW YORK / HAVANA

Representatives of Bespoke-CCT in Havana will meet you at the airport and accompany you to the Hotel.

8:30PM Private dinner at paladar “La Opera” located in Vedado.

Ballet Day 2

DAY 2

OLD HAVANA
Take the opportunity to experience the restored beauty of this colonial heart of the city in this walking tour of Old Havana.

10:00AM Tour includes: Plaza de Armas / Palacio de los Capitanes Générales/ Palacio Del Segundo Cabo / Plaza de la Catedral / Catedral de San Cristóbal / Plaza Vieja / Plaza de San Francisco.
12:30PM Lunch at paladar “Al Carbón” located in Old Havana.
Afternoon:
Visit the Hotel National’s famous Terrace Lounge, overlooking the Malecon.
Return to Hotel at 4:30PM approximately.
8:30PM Dinner at private residence of Cuban artists in Havana.

DAY 3

ARTS IN THE CITY
Discover the city, as the cultural epicenter of the country, offers a varied and rich artistic panorama in all the expressions.

10:00AM Private Guided visit to the Cuban Art Collection at the National Museum of Fine Arts.
12:30PM Lunch at Paladar “Café Laurent”, located in Vedado.
Afternoon:
> Visit the Decorative Art Museum, the former house and collection of Maria Luisa Gomez Mena.
> Return to Hotel at 5:00 PM approximately.
5:00PM Attend the 25th International Havana Ballet Festival.
8:00PM Dinner at paladar Le Chansonier located in Vedado.

Ballet Day 4

DAY 4

10:00AM Private visit to the ISA, the National Arts Schools and the Carlos Acosta dance school, an opportunity to visit the student’s exhibitions at the Visual Arts Faculty as well as their studios and ateliers.
12:30 PM Lunch at Paladar “La Corte del Príncipe” Located in Miramar.
Afternoon:
Visit Fusterlandia neighborhood, a vibrant arts complex named after its originator and chief creative force, Jose Fuster. Many call him the “Picasso of the Caribbean.”
Return to Hotel at 5:00PM approximately.

DAY 5

HAVANA IN THE 50’S
Enjoy the splendor and beauty of Havana in the 50’s in this journey through the modern districts of the city.

9:30 AM Depart hotel for a visit to the former Ernest Hemingway Estate, “Finca La Vigia,” located in the town of San Francisco de Paula
12:00 PM Tour of the village of Cojimar, which provided the inspiration for Hemingway’s novel The Old Man and the Sea.
1:00 PM Lunch at Paladar “Casa Grande” located in Habana del Este Free
afternoon:
Suggested activities
> Visit Piscolabis bazaar-café in Old Havana and enjoy a Cuban coffee.
> Visit Clandestina (Clandestine) store at Calle Villegas, between Teniente Rey and Muralla, in Old Havana.
> Visit to Alma Cuba shop, located in Miramar.
Late afternoon, return to Hotel.
8:30PM Attend the 25th International Havana Ballet Festival.
After performance dinner at paladar Rio Mar located in Miramar.
